Pam Banks

Pam Banks is the Executive Director of Altitude Accelerator, a RIC Centre innovation hub and business incubator dedicated to providing coaching, connections, and tailored programs for ambitious tech founders, and helping to bring the most impactful new Canadian technologies to the global market.

Pam founded the RIC Centre (Research Innovation Commercialization) in 2007 with the goal of helping promising Ontario ventures in all industries – from advanced manufacturing to AI to life sciences – navigate the start-up journey, from access to funding to key partner introductions and go-to-market and sales.

Since then, Peel Region-focused Altitude Accelerator has become the leader in helping cleantech sector entrepreneurs grow faster, stronger, commercialize products, and scale quickly in areas such as: solar power, air & water purification, decarbonization, alternative proteins, and waste management.

Notable Altitude cleantech alumni companies include Li-Cycle, Char Technologies, Brickeye (formerly AOMS) and CleanAir AI with dozens more currently making industry waves.

Altitude Accelerator is proud to be an SDTC Seed Accelerator, and an Official Partner of Sustainable Development Technology Canada, the Centre for Community Energy Transformation, and a member of the Brampton Innovation District.
