Lee Braaten (B. Comm, FCPA FCA, ICD.D) joined the Board of Directors in June 2023 and is from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In his 38-year public accounting career, Mr. Braaten worked with private companies and public entities across various industries through mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, succession planning and transition — providing assurance and related services to management, ownership, and governance structures. He retired in June of 2022 from his role as a partner and City Leader of PwC’s Saskatoon Office, where he managed the execution of strategic change and business transformation for the Saskatoon practice.  He continues to act as a consultant to the Saskatoon practice.

Mr. Braaten previously served on the boards of directors for various organizations, including the Saskatoon Community Service Village, United Way of Saskatoon and Area, Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation, and the University of Saskatchewan Senate. He is currently a board member of the Saskatoon Airport Authority and SaskEnergy.
