Derek Webb is President and Chief Executive Officer for a global group of environmental biotechnology companies and is responsible for all aspects of operation. He has intimate knowledge of air emissions abatement applications and has conceived and commercialized a variety of technologies for addressing municipal and industrial problems both domestically and abroad. With over two decades of experience designing, building and operating air pollution control equipment, he has spearheaded the development of an integrated approach to solving complex compliance issues. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
Derek received his honours degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Guelph and received an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University. He is currently serving as a director on the Board for Ontario’s Environment Industry Association (ONEIA), leading the initiative to foster discussion between Industry and Government for the formation of sound economic and environmental policy.
