Specialized technical support for cleantech SMEs in Southern Ontario

What is the Advance-On Program?

Sustainable Chemistry & Advanced Materials

GreenCentre Canada’s Advance-ON Program provides unique, high-value services to start-ups and SMEs in the sustainable chemistry and advanced materials sectors, driving their early-stage innovations to market faster so their businesses can raise the investment they need to scale and grow. The successful applicants to this competitive program will receive a project with access to GreenCentre’s full suite of services at no cost.

Commercializing cleantech innovations remains challenging owing to limited access to the specialized resources required for technology development and validation. The pandemic has intensified this challenge, impacting SMEs by limiting the support and resources they so desperately need. Advance-ON provides critical technical services to drive the recovery and growth of cleantech SMEs in southern Ontario, accelerating their time to market, unlocking investment, and creating jobs.

Advance-ON is available to cleantech SMEs and start-ups, located in southern Ontario, actively developing sustainable chemistry and materials-related products or processes.

New start-ups incorporated on or after January 1, 2020 are also encouraged to apply.
