GreenCentre Canada’s CONNECT-ON Program, supported by NRC-IRAP, provides technical services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to accelerate the commercialization of new products and services.
Through the program, eligible SMEs based in Ontario and are developing technologies related to the Circular Economy, are connected with a complementary Canadian Service Provider to develop a project plan. Successful project proposals are funded, up to $25,000, through the program.
CONNECT-ON is intended to help SMEs bring new products and services to market by leveraging the considerable resources and capabilities of existing service providers, ultimately creating jobs and growing the economy.

Program Criteria:
- Applicants must be an SME (<500 employees) based in Ontario
- Applicants must be developing technologies related to the Circular Economy who require technical development assistance
- Applicant technology must belong to TRL 4 - 7
- Service Provider must be a Canadian company, with an arm's length relationship to the Applicant
- Eligible projects may be up to a maximum of $25,000 CDN + applicable taxes
- All projects must be completed and invoiced by March 15, 2023
Additional Information:
- All projects are subject to approval by NRC-IRAP and funding availability
- GreenCentre Canada can facilitate introductions to appropriate Service Providers upon Applicant's request
- Applicants are limited to one Service Provider per project​
